ParentPay and school meals

Glantaf is happy to work with ParentPay in order to work towards being a cashless school, in order to facilitate a safe, efficient and trusted relationship with parents and families.

Parentpay allows you to pay directly into your child’s meal accounts and also to pay for school visits and excursions.

When you join Glantaf you should receive communication with account activation details. Once you have your account details you can log in online at parentpay.com. Look for the ‘Login’ button at the top right.

If you would like to use ParentPay on your smartphone, just bookmark the login page to your home screen for easy access. ParentPay has been designed from the ground up to work great on tablets and phones as well as desktop computers. Don’t worry about compatibility either. The vast majority of Android, iOS and Windows Phone devices will be able to run ParentPay.

School meals

At Glantaf we are pleased to offer a breakfast, morning break and lunchtime service through Cardiff Catering. This service also includes our Sixth Form Bistro

Pupils are able to use the biometric system to pay for their food orders and parents can see directly on the ParentPay app their purchases, as well as add to their balances.

There is a cap on daily purchases which can be adjusted and all pupils eligible for Free School Meals have their account credited daily, however balances (from FSM) are not carried forward.

Our lunchtime service is highly commended by pupils and staff and is consistently among one of the busiest kitchens of all Cardiff secondary schools.
