School Transport

The organisation and management of all school buses lies with Cardiff City County Council. Pupils who are eligible for free school transport will receive details of their bus journey and a free travel pass directly from the council.

If you have any concern, query or wish to make an application for free school transport you should direct that request to Cardiff Council in the first instance through this link:

Please note that Glantaf are wholly committed to the School Travel Code supported by Cardiff Council and Welsh Government. If a pupil wishes to travel on school transport organised by Cardiff council or by Glantaf they need to fully adhere to the expectations of the Travel Code. If a pupil contravenes the spirit or directions of the Code, they may well be suspended from the free transport offer for a period of time. You can see a copy of the Travel Code here:
